Who I am

Kleams is a sole-trader cleaning business in Canterbury, Kent, and is the controller of the personal information described here. Contact: hello@kleams.co.uk.

What I collect and why

• Your name, email, phone number and address, to quote for, arrange and carry out your clean.
• Access details such as key-safe codes, stored encrypted and used only for your clean.
• Details about your home and any notes you give me, to plan the right time and price.
• Before-and-after photos, so you can approve your clean. Deleted after 90 days.
• Payment records. Card details are held by Stripe, never by Kleams.

The legal basis is carrying out our contract with you, and keeping financial records to meet legal obligations. Using photos on the website is based only on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who helps me

I use trusted providers to run the service: Stripe (payments), Supabase and Vercel (secure hosting), Resend (email) and Twilio (text messages). They process your information only on my instructions.

How long I keep it

Photos are deleted after 90 days. Booking and payment records are kept for six years for tax purposes. Waiting list details are deleted when you ask or when they’re no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how it’s used, by emailing me. If you’re unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
